Locum Direct specialise in the provision of fully trained and qualified Pharmacists to cover short term, long term or full time vacancies. Part of a substantial and well established Group, Locum Direct Limited have an experienced and committed workforce aiming to provide quality Locums for planned or emergency vacancies.
An extensive database of Locum Pharmacists is available to us, nationally, and many of our Locums are prepared to travel reasonable distances to accommodate our Clients.
Our Locums are self-employed and we ensure that proper references are obtained and qualifications are fully checked before we place them with a Client Pharmacy. We have a full picture of the Locum's experience and their familiarity with the various soft-ware programs available within the sector.
Our rates are very competitive and we provide Locums to all types of pharmacies from supermarkets and major multiples to individual independent pharmacies. Realistic hourly rates are negotiated in order to provide a proper return to the Locum in line with the policy guidelines of our Clients and norms within the sector.
The team is headed by our Locum Placement Manager, Julie Lewton, who is highly motivated towards providing a professional and personal service to Clients and Locums alike. Julie aims to acquire a good background knowledge of Clients particular preferences and Locums skills/mobility in order to ensure that individual placements are successfully and satisfactorily completed.
